Students:
The Institute for Kinesiology Biel-Seeland IKBS trains people of different ages and backgrounds in the fields of kinesiology and conventional medicine for the entire German-speaking region.
Structure of the lessons:
The 3-year part-time kinesiology training course has a modular structure.
An average of 10 modules take place during a training year.
Depending on the course, these take place on weekdays, weekends and evenings.
Philosophy:
We are open to promoting the important dialog between complementary healthcare and conventional medicine. For this reason, we also teach both subject areas.
Our teaching and learning philosophy corresponds to today's standards of adult education; we pass on knowledge in a networked way from the very beginning in order to make it applicable in daily practice.

Get to know kinesiology in a simple way in a beginners' course. The courses offer valuable help for everyday life (the beginners' course is credited towards the training).

Brief description: Touch for Health 1-4
Touch for Health is an excellent introduction to kinesiology. It deals with energy balancing on a physical and emotional level and thus promotes our health and increases our well-being.

Individual kinesiology sessions:
The kinesiologist will use the muscle test with you as a biofeedback instrument to find out where possible connections for your discomfort (pain, stress, learning blockage, etc.) lie. The
physical, emotional, chemical-mental and nutritional levels.
By recognizing the blockage, it is possible - by strengthening muscles, using stress reduction methods or specific exercises - to dissolve energy blockages. This activates your body's self-healing powers.

The natural relationship between man and nature:
In the 1st year of training, one module (Visioncircle) takes place outdoors in the Biel region.
In the 2nd year of training there is an intensive week on an alp in Ticino.
An intensive week in Greece takes place in the 3rd year of training.
Accessibility:
The IKBS is located in the old town of Biel/Bienne. Public transportation offers good accessibility. (15 minutes on foot from the train station, or 7 minutes by bus no. 5,6,8,1 to Mühlebrücke)
