OST is a regionally based University of Applied Sciences with a national and international reputation. Over 1600 students are currently studying in one of the six faculties of architecture, health, computer science, social work, engineering and business. The continuing education center registers over 1800 participants in its degree programs, courses and seminars every year.

Bachelor's degree program in Management and Law - "Bachelor of Science in Management and Law"

Are you ready to tackle challenging interdisciplinary activities at the interface of business and law? Then the Bachelor's degree course in Management and Law at OST is the right course for you. The course opens doors to numerous challenging and interesting positions in law, business and administration. It can be studied full-time or part-time and takes place at the St.Gallen location. You can choose between the specializations Business Law, Human Resources, IT Governance & Security as well as Administrative Law and Administrative Procedural Law.

Thanks to their broad generalist knowledge and additional specialist knowledge from the specialization and elective options (Accounting and Controlling, Banking and Finance, Marketing Management, Strategy and New Business, Business Psychology, International Project Management and International Business), graduates of the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration are versatile, networked practitioners. The program can be completed full-time or part-time in Rapperswil or St.Gallen.

Digital change is bringing people and technology closer together. As a result of this development, the profession of business informatics specialist is gaining in importance. The Bachelor's degree program in Business Information Systems at the OST - University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland trains students for professions that are in high demand both regionally and throughout Switzerland. You choose one of two specializations: Digital Business Management or Business Software Development. The course can be completed full-time or part-time in Rapperswil or St. Gallen.

Master's degree program in Business Administration - "Master of Science in Business Administration"

The Master's degree program in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate/Business Development at the OST - University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland promotes your design and management skills in a practical and science-based manner so that you are prepared for complex and dynamic corporate and market situations and can successfully master challenges such as digital transformation. The consecutive Master's degree course lasts four semesters and offers a perfect work-study balance with up to 80% work time. The OST offers this Master's degree in cooperation with Bern University of Applied Sciences. The aim of this measure is to bundle competencies and create a national and international network that contributes to a Master's education at the highest level.

Master's degree program in Information Systems - "Master of Science in Information Systems"

The Master's degree program in Information Systems at the OST - University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland is a scientifically sound and at the same time practice-oriented advanced technical and management education. The course enables graduates to take on a key position, e.g. in digital corporate design and the development of strategy-compliant organizations using information and communication technologies. The course is designed as a part-time course, but is also open to full-time students. The course is offered in the "Monday Plus" and "Saturday Plus" models. The MSc in Information Systems combines the expertise of four leading Universities in Switzerland. It is offered as a cooperative degree program by OST - Ostschweizer University of Applied Sciences, Bern University of Applied Sciences, Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

The OST Management Training Centre offers a wide range of federally recognized executive MBA/MAS and CAS courses based on a modular training concept geared towards practical needs. The extra-occupational continuing education programs focus on long-standing, established areas of expertise and strategic success positions in the fields of corporate management/SME management, information and knowledge management as well as management in healthcare/hospital management. For many years, OST has held a leading position in the German-speaking world in these areas of expertise at university of applied sciences level.
