Distance learning is the perfect solution for people who want to combine study, work, family and leisure, pursue a professional career or reorient themselves professionally. This form of distance learning is also appreciated by people who need special study conditions due to illness or disability, who play top-class sport, travel a lot or often live abroad.

FernUni Schweiz is the only federally recognized institution for university distance learning in Switzerland and has been offering a comprehensive range of courses since 1992, all of which are completed by distance learning. They are structured according to Bologna guidelines and the degrees are therefore equivalent to those of Swiss face-to-face universities.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY (120 ECTS)

The Master's degree program provides you with an in-depth scientific education in psychology with application in two focus areas: "Health and Education" and "Work and Economy". Human experience and behavior are reflected upon from the perspective of information processing, its biological and neuronal basis as well as in the context of personality, development, social and cultural conditions.

Study content
The Master of Science in Psychology comprises 15 modules (total 120 ECTS credits), whereby 7 compulsory modules and 8 elective modules must be completed in the two specialization areas. In addition, a Master's thesis (30 ECTS credits) is written and a 300-hour internship is completed (15 ECTS credits).

Learning concept
Combination of supervised online and self-study.
Examinations also take place in digital mode.

Part-time study: 6 semesters part-time (approx. 3 years)
Study effort: approx. 25 hours/week
