You want to become more confident in finance and accounting without having to change your daily work routine. At online-kurs.ch, you’ll learn while working, in small groups, and through real-life Swiss case studies.

You decide when to study. The live webinars take place early in the morning, in the evening, or on Saturday mornings. Between webinars, you can review the material in the online course at your own pace and as often as you like.

The instructor works in accounting and trust services herself. She explains each technical term before using it and illustrates each step with an example.

You'll complete most courses with a certification exam. This allows you to demonstrate your skills to employers.

Choose based on your goal; each course can be booked individually:

• Basic Financial Accounting: You understand balance sheets, income statements, and journal entries, and can record simple business transactions on your own.
• Financial Accounting Professionals: They record inventory transactions, wages, and accruals, and prepare the annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.
• Social Insurance: You calculate wages correctly and are familiar with the contributions and benefits of AHV, IV, EO, ALV, BVG, and UVG.
• Value-Added Tax: You prepare the VAT return on time and determine which tax rate applies and when input tax can be deducted.
• Direct Taxes for Corporations: You prepare tax returns for limited liability companies (GmbH) and public limited companies (AG) and identify tax adjustments.
• Operational Accounting: You know your costs, calculate prices, and assess contribution margins.
• Financial Management: You plan the budget and cash flow and interpret key performance indicators correctly.
• Accounting Clerk Training Program: This program combines six courses to provide the recognized basic training required for the Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting.
