Since September 1, 2020, OST has united the established Universities FHS St.Gallen, HSR Rapperswil and NTB Buchs to form a new, strong University of Applied Sciences in Eastern Switzerland. We are a dynamic, innovative university that strengthens Eastern Switzerland with forward-looking impulses and makes a significant contribution to the economic and social development of our region.

With around 3,800 students in six departments, 1,500 specialists undergoing further training and over 1,000 current research projects, we are the educational hub of the region. OST combines over 170 years of education and research tradition.
