Iris diagnostics, also known as eye diagnostics or iridology, is a non-invasive procedure, which means that no equipment enters the eye and the procedure is therefore not associated with any pain or risk. Only an iris microscope or magnifying glass is used for eye diagnostics, so that the iris diagnostician can see the desired areas more clearly.

Yes, it is possible for you to expand your knowledge in the field of eye diagnosis or iris diagnosis at a school of naturopathy or to build on it fundamentally. There are both training courses and advanced training courses in the field of eye diagnostics, which are aimed at people with different levels of previous training. Training is very extensive and, depending on the school, comprises around 150 hours of instruction, which enables you to make professional diagnoses based on a patient's iris.
The training in ophthalmic diagnosis usually takes place at the weekend, so that you can continue to pursue your usual professional activity and take part in your training on Saturdays and Sundays. Often such a course does not take place weekly, but every two or even only every four weeks, so that you have enough time for other things besides work and continuing education, further training. Please enquire about this with the relevant schools and ask for the exact course dates before you book.
