Tell us about your career.
Andrea Heitmann is a trainer for communication, customer orientation and presentation confidence. My training and coaching sessions are open to companies that offer targeted employee training, but also to everyone.
What do you particularly like about your job as a trainer?
What I like most about my work is how I can really achieve great things with the participants using very easy and simple methods. My greatest joy is when the participants leave the training course beaming with joy after a short time. I know that they will try out what they have learned with great enthusiasm and become more successful as a result.
Which course did you complete and where?
At the Lernwerkstatt Olten, I completed SVEB 1 as a course instructor and then became an instructor with a federal certificate.
What did you personally gain from the training course for trainers with a federal certificate?
The continuing education, further training with a federal certificate was absolutely essential for my current job, because it gave me an incredible amount of tools to be able to do my job as a trainer well.
To what extent have you benefited from the learning content of the course for trainers with a federal certificate?
Through my continuing education, further training as a trainer, I have learned an incredible number of methods for creating my concepts much faster, better and more specifically tailored to the participants. By implementing these in my training courses, I am convinced that I can win over the participants.
What did you like best in class?
For me as a trainer, it was of course incredibly instructive to see the other trainers and experience their methods at first hand. Observing their training and exercise design and didactic approach. This allowed me to understand their personalities as trainers. I found that incredibly exciting and enriching. I then picked out what I thought was best for me and what came across most authentically and best to my participants. In fact, I benefit from the continuing education, further training to become a certified trainer on a daily basis for my concept work or training implementation. I also like to pull out the folders from the continuing education, further training and take inspiration from what we did there.
Who would you recommend the instructor training course to?
I would recommend the trainer course to anyone who wants to start a career as a trainer or who is already a trainer and wants to develop their concepts in a crisper and more participant-oriented way. But also someone who wants to improve their charisma and presence as a trainer.
What did you like best about continuing education, further training?
What I liked most about the lessons was the mix of trainers with different personalities and backgrounds. The different characters really made for a colorful, spicy mix. I was able to develop great friendships from this and I want to continue to cultivate these contacts.
What was the atmosphere like during the continuing education, further training?
The atmosphere at the continuing education, further training was very good. I had the feeling that the other participants also really appreciated the mix of different trainers. This meant that there was always variety and everyone enjoyed spending time there, even though the course took place at weekends. The time was entertaining and there was a very positive atmosphere.
What did you like best about the school?
I really liked the professional handling of the learning workshop.
What tips would you give to people who attend the trainer course in the future?
I can only recommend anyone who decides to do this course to take advantage of the contacts and the network of participants and trainers. It really is a great opportunity that can open many doors. You will benefit from your training as a trainer with a federal certificate in many ways.
