Fide stands for the three important official Swiss languages French, Italian and German - thus the Fide modules stand for the teaching of these languages. The program was developed by the State Secretariat for Migration SEM to promote linguistic integration in Switzerland and teaches participants how to use methods and teaching materials in such a way that migrants receive targeted and individual support and can learn the local official language independently.

It is particularly advisable to complete the Fide modules in conjunction with the recognized qualification for adult education SVEB language trainer. This also gives you the opportunity to apply for the EUROLTA certificate. The combination of these three qualifications is the crème de la crème among language teachers.

The course teaches in-depth skills in language didactics, provides participants with tools and introduces them to methods that keep lessons contemporary, exciting and lively - whether online or in a classroom.

The Fide modules, as well as the SVEB language trainer and the EUROLTA certificate, are aimed at people who already teach one or more languages as part of adult education at private language schools, adult education centres or in organizations and institutions, or who would like to start doing so in the future. However, the SVEB certificate is the only one that requires practical experience (which can also be gained during the course).
