My name is Armin Riebli. I have been Head of Continuing Education at FREI'S Schools for two years. My main task is to develop courses, supervise participants and conduct counseling sessions. In the course of my work, I always come into contact with different life paths. With our wide range of medical training courses, we can offer something for everyone who is interested in medicine.
At FREI'S schools, those interested in further training can choose from three directions in the field of human medicine courses as further medical training:
People who have not previously worked in the medical field, but would like to work in an office, can choose between medical secretary or medical secretary H+ as further medical training. The prerequisite is a completed apprenticeship. If you come from the commercial sector, choose the H+ medical secretary. If you have chosen a different profession, the medical and hospital secretary training is suitable for you.
If someone has already completed basic medical training, e.g. as a medical assistant, then we offer the course to become a medical practice assistant as further medical training. This training is characterized by the fact that all the necessary activities of a medical practice are taught in a short period of time. This does not replace the EFZ as a medical practice assistant, but it is certainly easier to start working in a medical practice with this training than without it.
This further medical training course is intended for trained MPAs (Medical Practice Assistant EFZ), dental assistants or pharmaceutical assistants. It involves training as a medical practice coordinator, which concludes with a federal certificate.
In this way, we offer a pathway through the entire medical field that leads into the higher specialist areas. You can find more information on these three training paths in human medicine and other medical training courses on the entry portalwww.ausbildung-weiterbildung.ch.
