I was in Sydney, Australia, for my language study trip. With over 4 million inhabitants, Sydney is the largest and best-known city in Australia and is located on the east coast.
I completed my language study trip after finishing my apprenticeship. I spent 3 months at school in Sydney and then traveled around Australia and New Zealand for another 10 weeks.
I was very satisfied with my stay. I got to know a lot of interesting people and achieved my goal of passing the Cambridge English exam. I really liked the dynamic of my class and the trip to Port Stephens north of Sydney. Port Stephens has beautiful beaches and bays with lots of dolphins. The hilly surroundings with rainforest are also beautiful.
I learned to go beyond my limits and to try something new. The stay has certainly helped me professionally, as English is becoming increasingly important and I can now prove my knowledge.
Be open to new things and try out things that may be a little unfamiliar. Try not to speak only with your own countrymen and in your mother tongue, there are so many exciting people out there.
