Cross-border and universal ethics

Do you deal with various topics relating to ethics and philosophy or with the question of good and evil? Do you always want to do the "right" thing, but do you sometimes wonder what the "right" thing is - and why? Do you have a keen interest in political, economic and social changes and developments and are you interested in looking beyond the superficial changes? If so, a course on universal ethics would certainly be a very suitable way of looking at these issues in more detail.

In a course in the field of transnational ethics, you will be given a helpful overview of the most pressing ethical issues and topics of the moment. It will also provide a comprehensive insight into the different areas of ethics, reflecting ethically on these current issues. The most important world religions are examined from an ethical point of view and non-religious ethics are also examined in detail. In addition, participants in these courses deal with the current material and spiritual view of man and the world and work out aspects of universal ethics. The knowledge acquired in these courses helps graduates to develop their own personal ethically based behavioral patterns later on.

A course in universal ethics is therefore very philosophical and stimulating on the one hand, but also a challenge for participants to question and justify their own behavior and to develop further in this way.

If you would like to find out more about the individual courses on cross-border ethics, you can order non-binding and free course documents via Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch. Switzerland's largest education portal also offers other helpful services and downloads for those interested in education in all subject areas - it's definitely worth a visit.

Institute for Economic and Business Ethics - IfWU
The Institute for Economic and Business Ethics is offering the following seminar in Zurich from October 29, 2026, to October 30, 2026:

Applied Ethics—Ethical Argumentation and Decision-Making in Business and Society

In this seminar, the Institute aims to impart systematic knowledge in the field of practical ethics. The methods selected for this purpose create a knowledge base upon which the theoretical concepts of ethics, responsibility, and sustainability can be operationalized.

The approach taken is that ethical principles are a prerequisite for understanding these topics and determine the possibility of their practical implementation. The IfWU therefore begins by highlighting the fundamental principles underlying ethical rules as well as rules of responsibility and sustainability.

In addition, a consensus-building methodology is presented that can help achieve ethical, responsible, and sustainable decision-making that is acceptable to all parties.
