The chances of a salary increase by obtaining the Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a Cyber Security Specialist are good. As this Federal Professional Examination has only existed since 2019, there are no statistical salary figures for cyber security specialists yet. According to a study by ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz, the salaries of ICT specialists with a higher vocational training qualification were roughly equivalent to those of ICT specialists with a university degree (source: ICT skilled worker situation demand forecast 2024).
