For example, it is possible to take a professional examination with a federal certificate as a retail specialist, marketing specialist, purchasing specialist or sales specialist.

During your training as a retail specialist, you will visit a store that you have chosen and get to know the business, advice, management and product range in detail. One and a half days a week, you will attend a vocational college where you will learn about business, German, society, retailing, the industry and foreign languages. In the final year of their three-year training, retail specialists can choose to focus on either consulting or management.
