Paths to export processing
There are two ways to work as an export clerk:
- As a business administrator, you can gradually take on administrative tasks in a corresponding company and thus grow into this activity "on the job".
- You attend an "Export clerk" course, acquire the specialist knowledge for a qualified clerical job and then apply for a suitable and interesting position.
Admission requirements for the "Export clerk" courses:
To participate, you must have completed basic vocational training (usually a commercial apprenticeship).
Further prerequisites for the success of the course are
- Interest in global political and intercultural issues
- Enjoying global economic issues
- Good knowledge of German and good foreign language skills
Degrees:
There are courses that conclude with a school diploma or certificate, e.g. as a

Other courses are based on the curriculum and the requirements of the HFA (Höhere Fachschule für Aussenwirtschaft) certificate examination and lead to the HFA certificate as a
