Cosmetician training: Experience report by participant Cornelia Sager - I took a chance on a new direction with the cosmetics training course.
Who are you and what do you do for a living?
My name is Cornelia Sager and I live in Neuenkirch in the canton of Lucerne. I had an airbrush studio for 15 years. I wanted to change direction. After a one-and-a-half-year internship with a medical beautician, I realized that a career as a beautician was the right thing for me.
What training have you completed?
I completed my cosmetics training at the Bella Vita Academy. Before that, I attended and completed the foot care training course.
Why cosmetics?
I found my calling as a beautician during my internship.
Why did you choose this school for your beautician training?
When I was looking for a suitable school, I came across this school. I really liked the concept of small groups, as this means that each individual participant can really be catered for.
Why did you decide to train as a beautician?
I decided to train as a beautician partly because of the small groups and partly because the atmosphere was personal and I was able to learn in the best possible way. That really appeals to me.
How do you like the lessons?
Carmela Ramundo is a kind-hearted person. In my opinion, she responds very well to the participants.
What do you like about training as a beautician?
I love working with people and answering questions about beauty. Thanks to my training as a beautician, I can put this into practice in my cosmetic treatments.
How have you been able to develop professionally?
I was already working in my beauty salon in Neuenkirch during my training as a beautician. I was therefore able to put what I had learned in theory into practice straight away. When questions arose, I was allowed to ask them on the training day and they were discussed and answered in the group. This was perfect for my learning process during my cosmetics training.
