The six-month HR Assistant course is suitable for people who want to gain an insight into HR and human resources. It allows you to build up basic knowledge in the HR field. Two years of professional experience is sufficient - however, this does not have to have been gained in the personnel or HR sector. The personnel assistant course is therefore also suitable for career changers. The course teaches basic administrative skills.

With the knowledge acquired, payroll accounting can be carried out professionally, legal questions answered, internal and external communication carried out and personnel development supported.
The HR Assistant course from the sponsoring association lasts one semester and costs around CHF 3,000. The course is completed as a half-day examination - organized by the sponsoring association.
Anyone who has completed the HR assistant course and passed the HRSE certificate can then add two years of professional experience in the HR environment to their training as an HR specialist with a federal certificate. With this professional examination, HR specialists can then also specialize in human resource management, public or private recruitment.
The great advantage of the HR assistant training course is that the examinations are held every six months. This means that training can be started every six months and completed with the certificate examination.
As a personnel assistant, you mainly work as a clerk in the field of human resources. In SMEs, they can carry out personnel administration independently or support HR managers in large companies.
