My name is Sandra Carrara-Steiner and I have been working full-time as a freelance animal communicator since 2006. I accompany pet owners and their pets on their journey with a great deal of passion, commitment and dedication. In practice, I work as an energetic practitioner with a broad range of knowledge and primarily with cats, dogs and horses. My medical background as a veterinary practice assistant and biomedical analyst HF has resulted in a practice focus on medical issues. In 2009, I expanded my range of services with a series of training courses in animal communication. Since then, this offer has been continuously expanded and filled with exciting content. The modular training is suitable for private use as well as for a professional reorientation through animal communication.
For me, animal communication is a philosophy of life that I would like to pass on to other people. It is a connecting tool between humans and animals. It makes visible what is felt. Also what is being thought and what an action involves. This is also what I can pass on to people through animal communication. It awakens understanding for your own or other animals. On the other hand, it also helps you to feel yourself better again. It's a job where you really need to find yourself. That's why we work a lot with and on ourselves during the animal communication training. We strengthen our awareness of our own abilities and possibilities. When implementing communication with animals, it is very important to me to be able to connect the abilities and possibilities I have discovered with each other in order to find strength in them.
My aim is to put animal communication into people's hands as an instrument. Thanks to the well-founded animal communication training and the many practiced communications, everyone can find access to this effective technique. Being able to better understand your animal and other living beings can be a great relief in everyday life.
The animal communication course has a modular structure. There are three levels of animal communication training:
The animal communicator module is the basic training for the private user and also forms the foundation for the animal communicator professional/expert. There are seven extension modules available for the Animal Communicator Professional, at least 5 of which can be attended in any order. In order to achieve the Animal Communicator Expert, we analyze 10 case analyses in the context of animal communication together after the professional degree.
The certificate course in animal communication is suitable for any animal lover who would like to take an in-depth look at the welfare of animals. Good prerequisites are certainly a love of animals and a large portion of curiosity. A willingness to work on yourself is also a prerequisite. Because only if we know ourselves well can we be sure that we are not introducing anything personal into a communication.
Unfortunately, this profession is not yet recognized. However, we are working in the Swiss-wide network Tierkommunikation.ch to develop a standard that will hopefully enable recognition in the near future. After training as an animal communicator, you can open your own practice to carry out this wonderful work with animals. The opportunities in Switzerland are good thanks to the large number of pets. Animal communication is also a good addition for people who work in animal-related professions such as animal carers, animal therapists, animal homeopaths or animal osteopaths. Many people also use these skills for their own personal use.
The content of the animal communication seminars includes the following topics:
Accompanied practice of initial communication is also an important milestone in this training. Participants learn how to ask the right questions when communicating with the animal. Animal communication is about perceiving your own body and connecting with the animal as well as recording the information received. Thanks to the many communications that we practise, there is already a good foundation for working with animals after the basic training as an animal communicator. We do the communications with animals of the course participants, but also with exciting cases from my practice.
In the animal communication lessons I try to offer a great mix of activity, quiet activities, communication examples as practical application and theoretical parts. Learning at Tiergeflüster should be a lot of fun. I take into account the fact that many of my participants have already worked 5 days a week and don't want to sit still on my animal communication course at the weekend. The high level of concentration involved in learning also tires course participants. That's why I have a clock that reminds me every hour to take a short break (without coffee, chatting etc.). If I notice that a group is no longer as receptive, I consciously incorporate activities through movement training or use a rest technique. In this respect, I try to adapt to the needs of the group and keep an eye on their attention span. This makes my lessons very varied.
I always provide a relatively large amount of material in the form of an extensive script during the animal communication training. Of course, it is always an advantage if someone also practices cases in their private time. However, this is not always possible for all participants. That's why the lessons include a lot of time for communication. As a result, I always bring the group back to a point relatively quickly where we can quickly pick up where we left off. Even if it is not possible to deal with animal communication in everyday life.
I do not carry out traditional learning assessments in the animal communication training. This takes place in the communications that are delivered during the lessons. We work together on many practical cases from relatives, acquaintances and friends. I encourage the participants to approach the people with the results of the animal communications and present the group results. In my opinion, this feedback is the best qualification we can make in animal communication. Based on this feedback, we can assess whether the communications really worked and where there may still be problems. We can then see what still needs to be worked on and improved.
The basic animal communicator training course costs CHF 2250 including a comprehensive script and lasts 10 days. For the animal communicator professional and expert training courses, a fee of CHF 205 is charged per selected course day from the available extension options. The following extensions are available after the basic animal communication training:
This means that the leanest option with 22 training days to become an animal communicator expert costs CHF 5310. If you book the complete package of all 28 training days, the price is reduced by 10%, making a total of CHF 5886. The training in animal communication takes approx. 16 months, payment in installments is possible.
Our training room is located in the beautiful Töss Valley, surrounded by rustic and wild nature. As we also work outside during our animal communication training, this location offers the perfect environment right on our doorstep.
You can get to the School for Animal Communication quite quickly by taking the S26 from Rüti or via Winterthur to Saland.
Our Tiergeflüster school is also very easy to reach by car and parking spaces are available. For those traveling from further afield, there are plenty of accommodation options in the surrounding area.
Thanks to my extensive experience and well-founded training program in the field of animal communication, you are in good hands with me. My aim is to get the best out of each individual course participant. I succeed in creating a good group cohesion quickly and easily, which has a positive effect on learning. Always according to the motto: Together we are strong. Animals are also welcome here.
People who come to me for training in animal communication are always interested people. Open and warm people with whom I can laugh a lot. They participate extremely well in the lessons. But I also try to teach the subject matter of animal communication in a very down-to-earth way. I am simply who I am. I wear my heart on my sleeve and speak my mind openly. I try to pass on the learning content, which is sometimes highly complex, as simply as possible. My course participants really appreciate this. They are also allowed to be who they are. Because everyone is as wonderful as they are - whether animal or human.
Personal support is very important to me. I am also available to participants at any time between the blocks of the animal communication training course. Thanks to the small group size and the live feeling, everyone can only benefit. Even though online seminars are in keeping with the times, at Tiergeflüster we prefer to focus on direct and personal contact. We also have supervision groups after the animal communication course to accompany and personally support former training participants.
