Besart Azemi: Significant increase in market value thanks to further training as a qualified HF technician
Besart Azemi
After completing his apprenticeship as a plastics technologist, Besart Azemi worked as a setter, first in his training company and then for six years at SIKU GmbH. Parallel to his professional career, he began further training to become a qualified HF company processes technician, which he successfully completed in June 2018. Thanks to this further training, he was able to take up a new position as Product Manager the very next month, significantly increasing his market value.
Azemi can now apply much of what he learned during his training directly in his day-to-day work. Thanks to his many years of experience in the plastics processing sector, he was able to acquire a great deal of knowledge in production and application, but now he is also able to market the products and contribute to product portfolio management. In addition to market analyses, customer care and new customer acquisition, he is also involved in product portfolio optimization, conducts product training, visits customers and prepares quotations.
Course as a career springboard
Besart Azemi sees the course to become a qualified technician HF as an enrichment and recommends it to all professionals with a technical education who are motivated to expand their knowledge in a targeted manner. Azemi was particularly impressed by the subject "Product Management" in the sixth semester, which helped him to progress in practice, but he also found the rest of the knowledge imparted throughout the course very useful, for example in the subjects of project management, product development and product maintenance, production planning and production control, total quality management, process simulation, strategic planning methodology and international business processes.
The Product Manager has achieved his preliminary goals and says: "I was only able to get such a good job as a Product Manager thanks to this training, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have had a chance." Nevertheless, Azemi has no intention of taking it easy now. The next step in his further training is already being planned, even if it has not yet been precisely defined. After his probationary period, he would like to start specializing in product management and continue honing his career.
