I first completed my apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician (EFZ). I then completed the VSH commercial diploma. I'm currently also studying to become a technical salesman with a federal certificate in order to improve my skills and increase my career opportunities.
Once I had the VSH commercial diploma, I also got a job in the office pretty quickly and am delighted with my move to CT.
However, quite soon after my apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician, I realized that I saw my professional future in the commercial sector. I wanted to switch to the office and therefore decided to do the VSH commercial diploma at the Migros Club School in Bern - and I am still happy with this decision today.
The fact that I had to deal with the subject of law during my commercial training was very beneficial to me. Contract law in particular is very useful to me in my current job. I was also very interested in accounting during my commercial diploma and it helps me in my day-to-day work. I also learned a lot about the economic market in the area of business administration and can now see and understand the interrelationships in the economy.
You really have to want to go back to school and enjoy learning. Because nothing works without learning! This further training for the commercial diploma sometimes requires you to put your hobbies and family on hold so that you don't miss the boat. If you don't want to go back to school, it's better not to do this course.
Yes, of course. I got a great job in the office. Without this course, that would never have been possible and if it had been, I would never have been as competent as I am today.
The course is really great if you want to switch from the technical field or the construction industry to the office. But even if you want to switch to sales (e.g. car sales), the VSH commercial diploma is a great basis.
