As a link between the people concerned and employers, they ensure that people with difficult access to the labor market can return to paid work in the long term. The Federal Professional Examination for Job Coaches in Work Integration was introduced in 2019 and offers a standardized, federally regulated qualification with clearly defined and verifiable job and competence profiles in the sheer number of continuing education, further training courses in coaching. Seven Swiss organizations, which have joined together to form a sponsoring association, are responsible for conducting the Federal Professional Examination: Savoirsocial, Supported Employment Switzerland, INSOS Switzerland, Arbeitsintegration Schweiz, Verband Arbeitsagogik Schweiz, ARPIH and Agogis. They are committed to providing needs-based further training courses throughout Switzerland and to promoting young talent. Their courses and qualifications are correspondingly well established in Switzerland.
The Federal Diploma of Higher Education for Job Coaches in Work Integration is a federal examination and is part of higher vocational education and training. The Federal Professional Examination offers a first opportunity for specialization after vocational education and training (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, VET). It is practice-oriented and is therefore highly valued by employers.
