Communications manager (formerly PR consultant): Professionals in communication at management level

The marketing objectives are defined by the head of communications (formerly PR consultant) together with a comprehensive communications strategy in a team of marketing communications planners, graphic designers and copywriters.

The client informs the head of communications, who then analyzes the market and drafts a precise advertising concept. This concept, which should contain a central message, is then presented to the client. The head of communications also takes into account the time and geographical schedule. Once the client agrees, the implementation of the concept begins.

The Head of Communications should have a high level of social skills and, of course, be a talented organizer, as everything from the publication of advertisements to the dispatch of mailings and brochures must be carried out flawlessly and on time. However, cinema advertising, TV commercials, the Internet and direct marketing are also important areas in which knowledge of business administration and corporate management is also required.

You are also familiar with accounting and commercial law - and of course you use the latest multimedia communication tools and online media flawlessly. You are no stranger to special areas of marketing communication such as dialog marketing, data base marketing, sales promotion, event marketing and sponsoring.

The demands on advertising managers are increasing because products and services are constantly changing. The communications manager (PR consultant) is responsible for the management of the company and for the conception, planning and realization of advertising campaigns for institutions, products and services. You are familiar with the operational context. In accordance with the marketing guidelines, you will be able to carry out the development, elaboration and implementation of advertising concepts in their entirety.

The training includes market analysis, creation and production of advertising material, media and advertising success monitoring. You will also learn how to manage an advertising department and/or work successfully with external specialists.
